Description
This Executive Assistant position is responsible for providing professional administrative support to the Executive Assistant Marketing & Sales of Union Pacific Railroad. Responsibilities include managment of meeting scheduling, travel arrangements, handling of sensitive or confidential information, assisting with personnel management processes and performing a wide array of administrative support activities. These duties require initiative, sound decision making, confidentiality, and superb organizaitonal skils in managing multiple priorities and critical timelines.
Accountabilities
- Provide highly proficient administrative support with a strong focus on handling sensitive information and confidential matters
- Anticipate and manage schedule for EVP Markteting & Sales including special events and all business matters
- Compose, review, monitor, send and receive correspondence, and ensure documents are accurate, timely and meet company and professional standards
- Exercise judgement in escalating critical issues
- Provide administrative support for various department projects
- Assist in administrative functions and special projects utilizing Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
- Contribute to efficiency and effectiveness of the department by improving planning and reporting processes while identifying and solving problems to maximize value creation
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications - Required
- A high school diploma or Graduate Equivalency Diploma (GED)
- Strong computer skills
- Proficient Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) skills
- At least one year of experience providing administrative support
